When I was working on the violin concerto „Butterfly Valley“, the parts of the „Requiem“, the poem by the danish poet Enger Christensen appeared me as necessary textual basis and as kind of the poetic „relative“ of my own composition.
The violin concert „Butterfly Valley“ is the second of three composition devoted to the poet Inger Christensen, together with the string quartet „runnning thougnhts“ and the ensemble piece „Turquoise“.
